The Seven Principles of Xinzhen Health

 

1 - Manage your mood and strive to preserve your inner joy.

2 - Sleep before 11:00 PM every night, preferably in total darkness.

3 - Consume as little meat as possible, particularly red meat, and try to reduce your intake of animal products such as milk and dairy products to zero.

4 - Every morning, drink mixed vegetable and fruit juice for breakfast, and do not eat any cooked food before lunch. Do not use more than 4 types of vegetables and fruits to create a juice with an acceptable taste, and give priority to vegetables, using fruits as supplements. Xinzhen Health recommends varying the types of vegetables and fruits every day so you can intake as many types of nutrients as possible. Avoid drinking the juice too cold, ensuring that it is at a temperature of 46C or above, especially in winter.

5 - Consume whole grains, vegetables, nuts, and seeds at lunch and dinner. Every day, try to eat different types of grains and vegetables, and avoid highly processed grains. Try to consume uncooked vegetables, nuts, and seeds except for starch vegetables like potatoes, taro, etc. Avoid overcooking.

6 - It is recommended to drink juice until you feel full every morning. Avoid eating too much at the other two meals. Try eating up to 60-80% fullness at lunch and dinner.

7 - 30 minutes of moderately-intense physical exercise should be done every day.
