How to start to enjoy juicing

Firstly, we recommend drinking fruit and vegetable juice, giving priority to vegetables while adding fruits for taste. Fruit juices contain a lot of sugar, and can be detrimental to your health in excessive amounts. Here are some tips to help you enjoy juicing:

1 - Start making juice with an extractor if you have trouble with the taste of smoothies. Start with juices with more enjoyable taste, and gradually transit to drinking smoothies made with the blender and accept the varied tastes.

2 - Diversification is not only good for your health, but will also help you find combinations and flavors you enjoy more.

3 - Drinking juice or smoothies for breakfast without eating any cooked food until lunch will guarantee maximum nutritional absorption and toxins clearing up from your body. Every morning, drink enough until you feel entirely full. If you feel hunger before lunch, drink more juice or eat some raw fruit or uncooked nuts.

4 - Use no more than 4 types of fruits and vegetables every morning. If you mix too many types together, unpredictable chemical reactions can happen and be detrimental to the nutritional value of your juice.

5 - For your two other daily meals, try to consume as little animal products as possible, including milk or dairy products, and especially red meat. Preferably, you can reduce your consumption to zero. Try to eat more whole grains and vegetables, and avoid highly-processed grains. Eat uncooked vegetables, nuts, and seeds, but eat your starchy vegetables cooked; such as potato, taro, etc. Try to avoid overcooking.

If you continue to eat too much meat during your two other meals, it will be difficult for you to build up your inner health and adequate body-circumstance. Also, your desire for meat will not decline. At the beginning, you should intend to eat less and less meat every day and persevere with drinking juice every morning. After 3 weeks, you will find that your desire for animal food is not as strong. You may even be disgusted by animal products. That is when you will have established a good dietary habit.

6 - It can be difficult to use a juice extractor on certain vegetables and seeds. These can be mixed in a blender with water and blended into a smoothie. It can be better to put seeds into water for 1-2 days to germinate them before blending. This process increases the seed’s nutrition and bio-active substances.

7 - It is not recommended to mix non-germinated grains or flour into juice.
